When the Mayor of Wootton Bassett, Councillor Mary Champion chose Yuriko and Akane Gonda as recipients of the Mayor’s Shield for the most memorable performance at the Highlights Concert Yuriko and Akane were unable to receive the trophy. However, a presentation ceremony was arranged to take place in the Mayor’s Parlour on Thursday 24th June.
